Isidre Esteve: "It’s still too soon to talk about victory and there is still a long way to do. Today’s leg finished very well and I loved the stretches, mainly the second one. Now what we’ve to do is wait until tomorrow’s leg, the most important one and where we can ensure the victory."
Marc Blázquez: "It has been a beautiful leg and I loved the stretches which have matched with my riding style. I felt very comfortable the whole day and due to the good operating of the car we could take a great advantage that is not significant but which can help us to control the race tomorrow."
Carlos Sousa: "On the first stretch I had a flat tyre that caused me a retard and on the second one it happened a chrono mistake and I started later. Tomorrow it’s going to be difficult to make up the time we lost today."
José Luis Monterde: "The car is working perfectly and the special stage has been beautiful but very hot. I had some problems to overtake two cars I had at the front and that’s why I’ve lost many time."
José Manuel Pellicer: "The fall I suffered yesterday harmed me because today I started very late and it was difficult for me to overtake some quads. Therefore I thing it’ll be hard to win Esteve and just a podium would be a great result."
Jordi Viladoms: "I had no experience at this kind of races and that’s why I was a bit slow. It’s my first Baja and I expect to acquire a correct rhythm without making mistakes and finishing the race."
