Pharaons Rally: Description of Stage 5 - Siwa-Sitra (365 kilometres).

The start of this stage returns to the terrain covered on yesterday`s stage: dunes and stony tracks where the participants have to get through the always dangerous camel grass, then they go round the gardens of Siwa at the exit. They soon return to the demanding broken dunes close to Siwa, especially quite a high one that is marked by the organisers in the roadbook, at kilometre 25.6. As the kilometres pass stones become more common until the arrival at the first control, the route then takes an asphalt track to another track that is just as fast, although twistier and with changes of speed, and one which gets worse until the riders reach some wadis that they visited in 2005. On the final section until CP3 at kilometre 141, the riders will find some trial bikes, and then they head south until some more dunes and a flat black area.
