UAE Desert Challenge: French Toys Motors Team went well yesterday

The French Toyota Landcruiser Prado Team Ronan Chabot and Gilles Pillot went well yesterday. Starting in the T2 Category the winning-team of the FIA Marathonrally Worldcup 2005 (in the T2 Class) only had their problems with the extremely heat in the Desert. "Our Landcruiser went very well today and it was a good day for us" commented driver Ronan Chabot the yesterday´s stage between Abu Dhabi and the Moreeb Desert.
"We left far as 24th - but for us there was no chance to drive fast. The many sand made us to drive only with a tire-pressure of 1.3 kg and we did not stop during the complete stage" said Chabot. "In the beginning we had to climb a very sloping hill, then there were extremely technical passages of dunes. Sometimes we tried it 5-times to climb them - but it´s really impressive to see what we can do with a serial car in this amazing dune-fields. The heat in the cockpit was incredible, my codriver had to pour me with water-bottles all the time. But i think, this was just the beginning - the third leg will be even harder" reported the French Toyota-Pilot.
